"Budhdirbalam yasho dhairyam nirbhayatvam arogata
ajadyam vakpatutvam cha hanumatsmaranadbhavet"
.

One will be blessed with wisdom, strength, fame, fearlessness,

good health, eloquence, and more when you pray Lord Hanuman

Lord Hanuman is the most revered God by Hindus all over the world. Idols and or images of Hanuman are not only seen in the temples throughout India but also under the trees, across fields, on the top of hills, deep forests, river banks, at the junction of roads, at the entrance of villages, and virtually in any place a common man can afford to make the place a temple. Most of his idols are sculptures made out of stone either carved by humans or by nature.

Hanuman is popular with different names: Anjaneya, Pavan Putra, Vajrangabali, and Maruti.

Hanuman is worshipped for several reasons. He is an embodiment of ‘Will Power’, ‘Strength’, ‘Courage’, ‘Wisdom’, 'Knowledge' and ‘Humility’. However, he is known more for his ardent selfless dedication and affection to Lord Rama.
